Chronicles of the Citizens’ Consultative Committee
The Citizens’ Consultative Committee (CCC) is a people’s movement that grew out of a time of tumultuous political change and social upheaval. Formed as goodwill committees, the CCCs play vital roles in maintaining good race relations, improving the lives of residents and act as a bridge between the government and the people. This book tells the story of the CCCs, through the eyes of top policy makers and grassroots leaders who served in the CCCs over the years.

Women's Executive Committees Celebrate their 40th Anniversary
The Women Executive Committees (WECs) celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2007. To commemorate this occasion, a book entitled Women Empowering Community – Commemorating 40 Years of Singapore Women in Grassroots was published. This book also charts the milestones of WECs and showcases the commitments and achievements made by these women grassroots leaders. WECs play an important role in encouraging women to contribute to the community and Singapore’s society.

Outward Bound Singapore: The First 40 Years
The year 2007 marks the 40th Anniversary of the founding of the Outward Bound Singapore (OBS). To commemorate this special occasion, OBS published a book titled Of Courage And Character. The book highlights the people behind OBS and shares some of its programmes and initiatives. The Realisation of a Dream
The Realisation of a Dream was published by the Kampong Glam Citizen’s Consultative Committee (CCC) to commemorate its 40th Anniversary in 2005. This book tells the story of Kampong Glam – how the district transformed from its relatively rundown state to one that is filled with vibrancy. It includes how the first settlement began, how Kampong Glam played a part in nation building back in the 60s and 70s, what was done to bond the people living in Kampong Glam in the 80s and how the CCC dealt with the changing times and needs in the 90s and the new millennium.
