The Residents Nomination Scheme (RNS) enables residents to nominate their neighbours as Residents' Committee (RC) members. This Scheme gives residents a say in who they wish to be their RC members.
The nominee must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents, aged 18 and above, and staying within the RC zone. There should be a Proposer and a Seconder for every RNS nomination. The Proposer and Seconder must also be residents, 18 years old and above, and staying within the same RC zone. However, they should come from different families.
The successful nominees will be appointed as Executive Members of the RC. There is no distinction between an RC member appointed through the RNS and other recruitment channels. If you are interested to nominate your neighbours to serve in the RC, please click here to fill in the attached form and send it to us.
