We are committed to reward our officers to attract, motivate end retain talented individuals.  Pegged to the civil service, we regularly review PA’s salary to ensure that it is comparable.  This includes annual wage supplement (13th month), salary increment, performance bonus, and PA allowance (if applicable).  Besides, our officers will also enjoy birthday off and family leave such as wedding, parenthood, child’s first day of school and child’s graduation celebration.

Short-listed candidates will go through PA’s structured interview. Successful candidates will be given a 3-year contract.

We have vacancies for the following positions:

  • Assistant Constituency Manager at the Community Clubs
  • Community Development Executive at the Community Clubs
  • Assistant Manager at the Community Development Councils (CDCs)

(A)      Assistant Constituency Manager

As an Assistant Constituency Manager, you will:

  • Actively recruit and develop volunteers for the Grassroots Organisations (GROs).
  • Administrate and facilitate in the formation, development and consolidation of GROs at the constituency level.
  • Initiate and implement activities, programmes and services to meet the needs of the community at the CCs and Residents’ Committees.
  • Take on one or more functional roles in the Constituency offices such as CC Course Development and maintenance.

Requirements

  • A General Degree, with good co-curricular activities records.
  • Experience in customer-service supervision, volunteer management or event management.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • the ability to handle public enquiries and complaints and attend regular meetings and events of GROs.

(B)  Community Development Executive

As a Community Development Executive, you will:

  • Lead a team of Constituency Support Officers to support CC operations and service CC customers to actively promote and market CC activities, courses and events.
  • Provide and assist to supervise administrative support for the operations of the Constituency Office (CO) and the Grassroots Organisations.
  • Take on functional and coordinating roles in Finance, Operations or Information Technology support in the CO.

Requirements

  • A diploma, preferably in a service-related discipline.
  • Experience in marketing, sales or customer-services; prior knowledge in handling accounts would be advantageous.
  • A pleasant and positive personality, enjoy interacting with people from different backgrounds and able to work shifts and on weekends.


(C)      Assistant Manager

As an Assistant Manager, you may take up one of the following portfolios:

(a) Social Assistance

  • Administer and review the various community service schemes to ensure relevance to the needs of the community.
  • Collate and analyze statistical reports pertaining to the CDCs’ activities and schemes to facilitate management’s planning.
  • Check and monitor the utilization of grants and assist in budget projection and cashflow planning.

(b) Corporate

  • Assist in planning and implementing the communication strategies and programmes in developing awareness, understanding and support of the CDCs' stakeholders and other government agencies.
  • Front the CDCs in liaising with media and external agencies.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the CDCs and the committees.

(c) Projects

  • Assist to formulate, implement, review and plan for the development of the CDCs’ long-term community goals.
  • Identify residents' needs and develop strategic plans for the organisation of suitable projects in the CDC district.
  • Initiate and implement projects and programmes for community bonding.

(d) Work Support

  • Identify and assess the overall needs of needy residents, recommend appropriate social assistance schemes, facilitate residents’ access to the various support services, and make subsequent reviews of the residents’ progress.
  • Provide employment related assistance and necessary aftercare support to clients who have graduated from the assistance programmes.
  • Collate and analyze statistical reports pertaining to the CDCs’ programmes and schemes, and monitor utilization of grants to facilitate management’s planning.

Requirements

  • A General Degree with good co-curricular activities record.
  • Relevant knowledge or experience from work or previous voluntary/ community activities/social work sector and knowledge of second language will be advantageous.
  • Mid-career applicants (including non-graduates with relevant experience) are welcome to apply.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to attend night meetings and functions on weekends.
