Take a look at the EP activities organised by our grassroots emergency units and grassroots organisations Kolam Ayer Community Emergency Preparedness Programme Do you know how to use a fire extinguisher? 60 residents learnt the right technique of using the sweeping motion at the Community Emergency Preparedness Programme, or CEPP in short organised by Kolam Ayer CDEC on 20 April 2008. On top of fire fighting skills, participants were given an overview of CPR and application of bandages. Mr Robert Ronald, Chairman of the CDEC was glad to note the overwhelming response of residents. He said, “They were very eager to learn the skills and some even refuse to go for their tea breaks.
