Grassroots Convention 2010

Come 3 July, 5,000 grassroots leaders and Advisers will come together for the Grassroots Convention 2010 to reaffirm their commitment in realising the Vision for the Community.

The Vision for the Community, which was unveiled by the People’s Association’s (PA) Deputy Chairman Lim Boon Heng last year, describes the community that PA and its grassroots network hopes to build together with residents:

A Great Home and A Caring Community, where we

• Share our Values
• Pursue our Passions
• Fulfil our Hopes, and
• Treasure our Memories

Guest-of-Honour Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will also launch the PA50th anniversary commemorative book titled “We Are One”.  The book features stories shared by grassroots leaders, Advisers and PA staff about PA in the past five decades.
