Grooving to the beats of K-Pop music

Come and join in the dancing on Sunday, 16 October 2011, at Singapore Expo Hall 4 from 1 pm to 9pm with fellow dance enthusiasts at the People’s Association (PA) Dancethon 2011! 

Jointly organised by the PA Active Ageing Council and Anlene, there will be a slew of exciting programmes for participants throughout the day.  The dance repertoire will consist of a good mix of Line dance and K-Pop dance music for the young and old. Participants can also expand their dance repertoire in the “Learn A New Dance” segment where they will learn K-Pop and community dances. Witness the top 12 teams from the District K-Pop Dance Competitions held at Bishan CC, Bukit Panjang CC and Kampong Chai Chee CC battle it out in the National K-Pop Dance Competition.  Even though majority of the competitors are seniors, they gamely took up the challenge and proved that besides watching Korean dramas, they too can go K-Pop!  

There will also be an array of energetic performances by local K-Pop dance groups and special guest performance by Mr Lee An, a Korean song writer, singer and actor.

Admission ticket is priced at $5 per person. Please call 6340 5435 / 6340 5054 / 6238 3422 from Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, for tickets.  Closing date for booking of tickets is on 10 October 2011.
