The People's Association (PA) launched the new PAssion ez-link Card for public sign ups on Wednesday, 11 November 2009.

Together with EZ-Link Pte Ltd and PaymentLink Pte Ltd, PA announced new and exciting benefits for holders of the PAssion ez-link Card, including the newly formed partnership with Dairy Farm Singapore group (DFS) and SMRT Corporation Ltd (SMRT).

Starting from the first quarter of 2010, PAssion ez-link Card members will enjoy privileges at retail outlets under DFS such as Cold Storage, Giant, Shop N Save and Guardian. In addition, PAssion ez-link Card members can exclusively earn and redeem DFS loyalty points to enjoy greater benefits and privileges at DFS’s retail outlets.

Through PA’s partnership with SMRT, card members will enjoy attractive benefits and privileges at SMRT Xchanges. Being a CEPAS compliant card, the PAssion ez-link Card enables the payment of transit services such as for train rides and SMRT taxis.

“The launch of the new PAssion ez-link Card will be very exciting for our PAssion ez-link Card members.” Chief Executive Director of PA, Mr Tan Boon Huat said. “Together with our partners EZ-Link Pte Ltd and PaymentLink Pte Ltd… our new partners, Dairy Farm Singapore group and SMRT Corporation Ltd will bring the membership value of new PAssion ez-link Card to a higher level.”

Mr Tan added, “PA hopes that we can reach out to and encourage more residents from all walks of life to take part in our programmes, courses, interest groups and activities. Through their participation, residents can make friends with one another, have fun together in good times and care and look out for one another in times of needs. We believe that the bonds fostered will help to build a stronger and more resilient community.”

Sign up for the PAssion ez-link Card at any of the 105 community clubs and online at www.one.pa.gov.sg.
