Let’s Hang Our Love on the Tree

  Decked in rain coats and armed with brollies, five young grassroots leaders braved the heavy rain to decorate ‘their’ Christmas tree at the Singapore Botanic Garden on 4 December 2009.
The members from Ci Yuan and Eunos Youth Executive Committees (YEC) were just two of the 30 GROs who took part in the “Trees of the World” light-up event organised by Singapore Botanic Garden as part of their 150th anniversary.

Day Nighter Cricket Tournament

Twenty teams took part in the Flood Lights* Cricket organised by the People’s Association Narpani Pearavai Youth sub-committee on 28 and 29 November 2009.

Out of the 20 teams, four were from Woodlands Community Club (CC). The highlight of the event was a battle of the sexes between the male competitors and the Singapore Women’s Cricket Team.
