The first Senior Citizens' Club was formed in 1978. The People's Association Senior Citizen Network was subsequently established in 1986. It caters to adults aged 50 and above, regardless of race, language or religion. With 150,000 senior members, Senior Citizen Network comprises 339 Senior Citizens' Clubs that are based at Community Clubs and Residents' Committees. The Network offers platforms for seniors to stay active within the community through a wide variety of lifestyle activities, courses and volunteering opportunities.
