Volunteering with People’s Association

You can play a part in shaping a united, caring Singapore and be the positive change that you want to see in your community when you volunteer with People’s Association (PA).  

As a volunteer, you will have opportunities to engage with the community, bring people together through shared community goals, and act as a vital link between the people and the government.  You will join other volunteers, Grassroots Organisations (GROs) and community partners to help address the diverse needs of the community and strengthen community ties.  Through these, you can forge meaningful connections with people from all walks of life.

Grassroots Volunteer

As a Grassroots Volunteer, you will join one of over 2,000 GROs across the island. Your role is to foster neighbourliness and strengthen community bonds, encouraging residents to meet, share and connect. Within the GROs, you will take on various responsibilities, including sharing government policies, gathering feedback from residents, assisting those in need and organising programmes for outreach and engagement.

Community Volunteer

As a Community Volunteer (CV), you will have flexibility to determine your level of commitment and how you wish to contribute towards the causes you are passionate about. Whether it is cause-based, skill-based or project-based, you can explore various volunteering opportunities or available resources that best meet your preferences.
