The People's Association (PA), through PA Cares @ President's Challenge, is committed to supporting communities in need by encouraging donations, volunteerism, and active community involvement. Through the President's Challenge, PA mobilises the community to promote greater inclusion in sports, contributing to building a more caring and inclusive society.
Powered by our Grassroots Movement and strengthened by Corporate Partnerships, PA continues its dedication to creating meaningful impact.
The President’s Challenge was launched in 2000 by then-President Mr S
R Nathan, to rally Singaporeans in building a more caring and cohesive
society, and to support communities in need.
In 2025, the President’s Challenge was refreshed on achieving more sustained
social impact – by supporting every aspiration, recognising every contribution,
and inspiring others to lift those around them.

The PA Cares @ President's Challenge 2025 event featured an inclusive sports activity which consisted of Active Beyond Limits Exercises (A.B.L.E), a "Trust-in-Me" Walk and various interactive sports try-outs at imPAct@Hong Lim Green on 5 October 2025. The community celebration aimed to raise awareness of inclusion in sport and encourage meaningful connections across the community.

This year, PA is pledging $250,000 to President's Challenge, raising funds
through various platforms to support the beneficiary organisations in their
effort to create lasting social impact.
Support a meaningful cause by donating to the President's Challenge! Every
contribution, no matter the amount, your contribution will make a real
difference in the lives of those in need. Through the SG Gives Matching
Grant, every dollar you donate will be matched with $1.50, multiplying
the impact of your generosity. All donations of $10 and above are eligible
for tax deductions.
