Are You Eligible To Vote?

If you are a Singapore Citizen, you may check your particulars and eligibility to vote in the registers through the following means:

  • Online at the Elections Department website
  • At the CCs with your NRIC/passport. Click here for list of CC locations.
  •  At Singapore overseas missions that serve as overseas registration centres with your NRIC or passport
  •  At the Elections Department with your NRIC or passport.

Any claims and objections may also be submitted using your SingPass at the Elections Department website, or in person at CCs, Singapore overseas missions that serve as overseas registration centres and the Elections Department.

For Overseas Singaporeans

If your name is listed in the Registers of Electors and you have resided in Singapore for an aggregate of at least 30 days during the 3-year period between 1 Feb 2016 and 31 Jan 2019, you may apply to register as overseas electors to vote at one of the designated overseas polling stations in future elections.

If you had registered earlier as an overseas elector, you will need to re-register if you meet the qualifying criteria as of 1 Feb 2019 and wish to remain as overseas electors.

Application for registration as an overseas elector is open all-year round.

However, in accordance with the law, applications will not be processed during the period from the third day after the Writ for an election is issued until after Nomination Day if the election is uncontested, or until after Polling Day if a poll is to be taken.
