PAssion Wave celebrates its 50th Anniversary

PAssion Wave celebrates five decades of connecting communities of all ages and abilities through accessible and affordable water sports and waterfront lifestyle activities.

In 1974, the People’s Association established the PA Adventure Club at Changi Point, marking the beginning of canoe clubs and sea sports centres at Punggol Point, Sembawang, and Kallang River.

These efforts evolved into the current six modern and well-equipped PAssion Wave outlets, including three reservoir outlets (Bedok Reservoir, Jurong Lake Gardens, Marina Bay) and three sea outlets (East Coast, Sembawang, Pasir Ris), promoting a broader range of waterfront and meaningful community programmes with water sports.

A year-long series of celebratory activities including thematic expeditions to rolled out across the six PAssion Wave outlets.

Registrations will open on 2 June.

One-For-One Family Kayaking Package

Calling all adventure-loving families! Whether you're a “newbie” or a “knowbie”, enjoy one-for-one family kayaking packages in celebration of PAssion Wave's 50th Anniversary and National Family Festival this June and July. Enjoy the thrill of family kayaking! Expert trainers will be on hand to guide families for a delightful experience on the water.

Glow PAddle 2024

Prepare to be captivated by the allure of the night as you join us for an enchanting night dragon expedition, Glow PAddle, as part of PAssion Wave's 50th Anniversary celebration activities to bring the community together.

Under the guidance of certified dragon boat trainers, participants will embark on an exhilarating journey into Marina Bay aboard stunning LED-lit dragon boats to view selected artworks of i Light Singapore 2024 on water, all while being immersed in the historical narrative of PAssion Wave's legacy and Singapore's iconic landmarks, delivered by tour guides.

This unique experience promises an unforgettable blend of excitement, culture, and community spirit, making it a fitting celebration of our 50th Anniversary.

Day Expedition

Day Expedition to Solar Panel Farm
